FF&E designer (Hospitality)

The role

We create brands and spaces that make people feel. The open role has a clear focus on FF&E being an integral part of the design process, mainly for hospitality projects.

During the full design trajectory as the FF&E designer you will assist the design team with an FF&E vision and provide strong FF&E guidance. 

As a specialist you will constantly update your knowledge about FF&E (suppliers / brands / sustainability scores) and share this knowledge with the design team. 

You will have the end responsibility of the sample library, material and furniture listings inspiring your colleagues. 

About you

  • You have proven experience in hospitality design

  • You have exceptional and proven design skills in interior design and FF&E selection (8 years)

  • You love to translate a brand’s values into a full experience in all its details

  • You are obsessed with materials, finishes and furniture

  • Defining the right FF&E gives you energy 

  • You have an excellent knowledge of materials and FF&E specifications providers

  • Going into detail is when you get ecstatic 

  • You love to know what’s coming up and are aware of new trends in terms of design

  • You have a sustainable mindset and would love to know more about this topic

  • You’re not afraid of looking at things differently and challenging the status quo  

  • You are a strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work in team 

  • You know your programs : Sketch-up (Enscape), Vectorworks/ Autocad, Adobe creative suite, google drive, etc

  • You understand that every design should fit a budget  

  • Full-time candidates can apply.

  • London or Antwerp based

Responsibilities

  • Defining the FF&E vision and design for our hospitality projects

  • Providing strong FF&E guidance to the design team 

  • Researching and sourcing FF&E items, materials and finishes

  • Producing mood boards and presentations to communicate your design visions

  • Preparing detailed schedules and specifications

  • Budget the FF&E selection

  • Take the lead in client presentations

  • Coordinate with the interior team to execute all FF&E design solutions

  • Attend vendor presentations and inform the team on new products 

  • End responsibility of the sample library organised following our sustainability classification
