Made to measure minimalist pavilions

Vilarte is a Belgian design brand founded in 2020 by Veerle Claerhout and Pieter De Vylder, two commercial engineers with a soft spot for design. Vilarte encourages people to escape the rush of everyday life and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. It sculpts minimalistic outdoor spaces as luxurious one-of-a-kind hideaways within a brief production period.

We developed a high-end brand identity in line with their bespoke pavilions, designed by stefan.schöning.studio.

Timeless design

Vilarte’s garden pavilions are marked by minimalist, timeless design. We too believe this design language has stood the test of time for a reason, and has deep esthetic and human value.

That’s why the clear lines and minimalist ethos of the pavilions were used as a guide for the logo as well as for the complete design system.

The logo created is directly based on the black steel skeleton framing the Vilarte pavilions. Just like the skeleton lifts up the space, literally and figuratively, the extended I and T shape lift up the logo.  

The Vilarte icon serves as an autograph. It symbolizes the connection between man and nature. 

Vilarte offers aesthetically pleasing pavilions that soften the boundaries between inside and outside. We made this connection visible through high quality, hyperrealistic visualisations of the exterior and interior of the pavilions to be. 

Three exclusive marbles serve as the foundation of Vilarte’s tailoring process. We photographed detailed material moodboards for each range. 

The monolith

We developed a strong grid as a base for the visual system. The monolith is an essential shape in our identity. This pronounced vertical shape reaches out into the sky in search of something higher, something quintessential. 

Furthermore, the liquidity of the grid refers to the fact that every pavilion is tailored to the personal needs and liking of it’s future resident.

The liquid monolith grid was continued in the webdesign. This makes the website distinctive and recognizable, despite its minimalist vibe.
