Designed as a playful city retreat in the heart of Antwerp, this hotel welcomes curious travelers with a space that balances energy and ease. The brief called for a setting that reflects the lively character of its surroundings—most notably the eclectic red light district—while offering moments of calm for work or rest.

The challenge was to translate a vibrant, sometimes provocative neighborhood into a design that feels inviting and warm, without resorting to clichés. The space also needed to shift effortlessly between daytime functionality and evening comfort, all while remaining cohesive and brand-aligned.

 We created an environment defined by duality—where bubblegum tones meet soft textures, and playful details coexist with thoughtful functionality. Pastels, faux furs, and animal prints add light-hearted charm, while raised sleeping platforms, fluted glass, and curated lighting establish comfort and rhythm. From morning coffee to late-night wind-downs, the design evolves with your day—an escape that’s both grounded and adventurous.
