Nobi, located in Antwerp Tower on Keyserlei, set out to create a dining space that feels both fresh and refined—where simplicity meets sophistication. The goal was to design an environment that mirrors the brand’s accessible, high-quality offering while standing out in a competitive urban landscape.

The main challenge was striking the right balance between minimalism and warmth. The space needed to feel open and modern without becoming cold or clinical. It also had to reflect subtle Japanese influences without leaning on clichés, and offer a cohesive experience across two levels with different functions and energy.

We used clean lines, vibrant contrasts, and layered textures to bring the concept to life. Bold pink glazed tiles catch the eye, balanced by the softness of a warm yellow mezzanine and a wooden counter accented with golden details. Upstairs, the more intimate seating area features acoustic treatments and a soft grey fabric wall to enhance comfort. This is all tied together with a consistent color palette and attention to tactile detail.
