AUM

- A sensory sanctuary in the Quatre Bras Tower

An Experience Set In The Here And Now

Year:
2023
Client:
Lucka Wahba

In the Quatre Bras Tower just outside Brussels, entrepreneurs Lucky Wahba and Maxine Gillet aimed to create a restaurant identity with its own rituals, people, and practices. They tasked us with creating a space where visitors could remain present, a place where they wouldn’t be disturbed by the past or future.

Embodying the sacred sound of AUM, we visualized a space that stimulated the senses in a different way. As guests enter the restaurant, custom prayer rolls adorned with AUM patterns serve as turnable handles, instantly forging a tactile bond between the space and its visitors.

The AUM pattern is woven throughout the space, from glass details and luxurious upholstery to table tops with marquetry. Even the wooden beads of the window screens reveal more AUM symbolism later in the evening. These thoughtful details transform the restaurant into more than just a dining spot—it becomes a sanctuary for presence, connection, and sensory exploration.

"For many months now, we have worked really hard together with WeWantMore to create something special. AUM has an identity to its brand, an image to its concept, and a soul to its unique world."

— Lucka Wahba & Maxime Gillet, Founders of AUM
