Context

Terres du Val is a family-run estate where every corner of the land is nurtured with care. The property encompasses a hotel, spa, bakery, golf course, restaurants, a working farm, and a future vineyard. The golf course is maintained by grazing sheep, the fields are cultivated without pesticides, and a thriving bee apiary flourishes on the grounds.

Challenge

Although the estate offered remarkable experiences, they existed under a patchwork of names and identities. The result was a fragmented brand landscape with no single thread connecting the hotel to the farm, the golf course to the bakery, or the vineyard to the restaurants. The challenge was to bring all these elements under one cohesive identity without flattening the diversity that makes Terres du Val unique.

To succeed, WeWantmore identified that the brand needed to capture the estate’s defining contrasts: rugged paths and smooth stays, harsh winds and soft mornings. The question became how to unify the estate in a way that embraced, rather than diluted, these powerful tensions.

Idea

The solution emerged by placing these contrasts at the heart of the brand. Instead of smoothing over the differences within the estate, we elevated them as its defining character. In collaboration with brand strategist Olivier Enthoven, WeWantMore shaped a strategic vision and introduced the tagline Refined Moments Shaped by the Land.

This approach reflects how the land itself is shaped by contrasts—where rugged paths meet smooth stays, harsh winds meet soft mornings, and raw nature meets rich living. The family wanted the brand to reflect this honesty while positioning Terres du Val as an agriturismo-style retreat, inviting guests to slow down and experience the estate’s full spectrum of offerings.

Design Solutions

We began by unifying everything under a single name: Terres du Val. The logotype was spaced to reflect the openness of the landscape. Colour played a central role in the visual identity: Olive and Flax ground the brand in the textures and tones of nature, while Rose and Fire introduce energy, passion, and sophistication. These four colours create a distinctive yet harmonious system that mirrors the contrasts of Terres du Val.

This contrasting logic extends to all copy and communication, where bold, expansive headlines paired with smaller, more refined body text echo the same tension found in the colour palette. Signage and way-finding were developed to guide visitors intuitively across the expansive property, reinforcing a sense of openness and discovery. In the end, the brand brings the estate together not by imposing uniformity, but by celebrating the contrasts that already define it.

“As a family-run estate, it was important that the new identity felt honest and respectful of the land we care for every day. WeWantMore translated that spirit into a visual language that feels calm, timeless, and grounded. It brings clarity to the estate without losing the contrasts that make Terres du Val unique.”
