Production Manager (interior)

The Role 

The interior design team of WeWantMore is known for pushing the boundaries of the clients it designs for: Hospitality, Retail and Office Environments. As a production manager you have an important role in getting these designs built.

As a sparring partner for the design team you will look for smart building solutions for their creative ideas. You will guide the technical drawing team to prepare the perfect plan set to brief contractors. You’ll select the right contractors to tender and run the tendering to come to a sign-off of the budget by the client with a clear goal and timing.  

From that moment on you will run the project, the timings and the contractors while supervising the quality and the budget. You will keep all stakeholders (client/ designers / technical drawer/ client service manager) in the loop of the project and its progress. In the end you will evaluate the project and partners and list learnings for the next projects.  

About you 

  • You have 5 years of experience as a production manager of commercial interior projects

  • You are used to work in team and report to a manager

  • You love making a planning and reaching deadlines.

  • You’re on top of things and can maintain an overview of your projects at all times.        

  • You have a background in interior design and know your aesthetics. 

  • You can evaluate plans in terms of quality and completeness. 

  • You understand how important full communication is to keep everyone informed.  

  • You are critical and you have an eye for detail. 

  • You check the quality of work of the contractors and report this. 

  • You know contractors of all sorts and are interested in how to construct creative ideas 

  • Knowledge about HVAC, electricity, sanitary is a plus.

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch and you know French. 

  • You have a notion of Vectorworks.
